Weekend Recap

Saturday: Abe left early that morning to go hunting and fishing with the guys. He had a pretty good time and came home with some deer meat!

That evening we went to Columbia as a date night for my birthday. Liberty stayed the night with my mom and dad for the night. We went to Hu Hots, which is always good! Then my great and loving husband took me to see Breaking Dawn! I thought it was really good, and can not wait to see part 2!

Sunday: Abe went hunting again that morning in the cold and rain....why do they subject themselves to this???? After he got home, we went to look at some land that is for sale to see if it may be something that would work for us. Then I went to my mom's and hung out. She cooked fried chicken for dinner and red velvet cupcakes for my birthday dessert! YUMMY!

Abe stayed the night with some guys at a deer camp on "Pine Hilton". It's funny how he kinda gets excited about these things!

Happy Halloween!

It was Liberty's 1st Halloween, so I kept it pretty easy. Since we have to get her in and out of the car seat, I didn't want anything that was too much to handle. We decided on the pumpkin tutu that I found at TJMaxx, and the just paired it with a onsie! I thought she looked cute!

1st Birthday Plans

I can't believe that I am planning my baby girl's 1st birthday party. I just doesn't seem possible :( I have decided to do a color theme since she really isn't hooked on any characters yet. The color theme is going to be black, hot pink, and white! I think that it is going to be super cute! Here is my idea on the cake:

I got Liberty a cute pink sparkly tutu to wear and I plan on getting her a black onsie and either doing an iron-on or sewing on a 1 to the front!!

OK, OK, I am getting excited about all this!

Good Bye Night Shift!!

I am very excited to let everyone know that I will be joining the normal world and getting a day job!! I have been interviewing and shadowing some nurses at Missouri Vein Care for the past 3-4 weeks, & I have officially accepted the position!! They are opening a new clinic in Rolla, so it will be a shorter drive for me, clinic hours (no holidays or weekends!), and I am so happy to be home every evening with my family!! It's a pay raise also, which isn't too bad either!

Weekend Recap

Friday: Abe went straight to his dad's after work to go hunting, so Liberty & I just hung out at my parents's house till dark. She fell asleep on the way home (love!), so when Abe got home we ordered some food from the Eagles and then watched a movie.

Saturday: Drill Weekend for Abe (BOO) . Liberty & I cleaned the house and finished up the laundry. That evening we went to Hunter's 3rd Birthday Party!! He got lots of good stuff, including an awesome drum set from his Uncle Ryan! He is actually pretty good at it already. Oh, and we watched the Cardinals game, which wasn't so good :(

Sunday: I dropped iberty off so that Ashley could watch her while Mom & I went shopping. I was wanting to get everyone an outfit to wear for our pictures this weekend. Lets hope the weather stays nice so we can have some good pictures!!

Weekend Happenings

Friday: Abe had a fishing tourney, so Liberty and I went to the Eagles and ate dinner with some of my family. Steve & Amanda were in town from Georgia, and this would be the last time they will visit unitl the new baby girl gets here in November!! It was great to see her and her baby bump, little Eli, and of course Steve.

Saturday: Abe had day 2 of the fishing tourney that morning (they ended up placing 2nd!), so it was just Liberty and I hanging at the house. Abe got home about 3 pm, and then left for his mom's house for some party at 4 pm. He took Liberty with him because I was having a girl's night out with some friends!! I was invited to a friends 27th birthday party which included a Pure Romance presentation! If you haven't been to one, they sure are a good time!

Sunday: Abe left bright and early for a golf tourney in Jefferson City. It was a benefit for someone that died a while back. He ended up getting the best shot, so he won a new set of golf clubs! Just what I need, for him to have another hobby! Liberty & I went to visit my mom all day. We helped bake some chocolate chip cookies, made some mini-lasagnas (thank you PINTEREST!), and also a batch of chicken & dumplings!! YUMMY!! We were all sent home fat & happy!

Sunday was also my nephew Hunter's 3rd Birthday!!! This photo was from some time ago!

I got this kids table with 2 chairs and a toy box that fits underneath it. Liberty seems to like it already!

Weekend Recap

Friday: We didn't do anything Friday night because Abe had drill all weekend. We started to watch a movie-Gulliver's Travels with Jack Black- but neither of us were even remotely interested in watching it. So we ended up turning if off and went to bed.

Saturday: Abe had drill all day and Liberty and I went to my parents house. She stayed the night there so Abe & I could go out for our Anniversary which is on Monday! We went to eat at Colton's, and checked out the movie theaters. Nothing was playing that we wanted to see so we went car shopping instead!!

Sunday: Abe had drill..again...so I went to get Liberty at my mom's. Liberty turned 10 months old, so I had a little photo session at their house. Later that day we went fishing, ate a good dinner, and went home! It was a good relaxing day!

Liberty had a well check appt yesterday morning. All they did was get her height, weight, and do a quick run thru to make sure all was ok! NO SHOTS this time!!

I am no professional, and I have to give them credit because finding the right light where she wouldn't be blinded by the sun or have a huge shadow on her face was next to impossible.
